The specialty of trauma is an ever growing ever expanding field which brings together the practitioners of all subspecialties of ophthalmology and the host ofother Specialties of medicine. It involves the anterior segment surgeons, the vitreoretinal Surgeons, The Oculoplastic surgeons and needs the support of Radiologists, Otorhinolaryngolosists, plastic surgeons, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, maxillofacial Surgeons and other. The surgical techniques in the management of the subject have Seen a sea change in the last couple of decades with greater effort at bringing about Multispeciality coordination to produce the best results.

The Ocular Trauma Society of India brings all these practitioners together in one forum to bring about this coordination, to improve the results of management in the complex questions posed by the Ocular Trauma. The General assembly of The Ocular Trauma Society is yet another attempt to advance the cause of the efforts in this direction. We promise to bring forth a rich array of scientific Knowledge in the specialty to you, which will enrich and enthrall you.
